I'm not like most designers
My first job is to determine if you need a website - wanting a website won't cut it.
Throughout the process, I will challenge you to ensure that every decision you make speaks to the expectation of the reader.
If you are open to trusting an experienced designer who puts your business needs first, we could be a great fit.
Being a hybrid designer and SFEDI-qualified business adviser means I can provide valuable input on how your website will align with your goals, identify challenges, provide solutions and help you make important decisions, giving you the best chance of success.
I take a holistic approach to website design, helping you to understand and use the best tools, resources and techniques to hit your business goals.
My goal is to make life easier for you by creating an impactful website you enjoy using, helping you get subscribers and build an audience.
Many of my clients are unsure about what they want and how they should approach the development of their online presence. They want an engaged audience, to build a community and get paid - but don't know where to start. Challenges may extend to their branding and marketing strategy - especially in new ventures. I can help.
I use a variety of platforms to create websites, but I primarily use Ghost - a powerful, established platform used to build millions of websites with a key focus: to get subscribers and turn them into customers.
I work with you collaboratively and use video, live online sessions and email to keep you informed throughout the design process. No jargon. No hassle. At the point of sign-off, you will have full ownership of your website and everything you need to make it work.
I have worked as a website and graphic designer for over 12 years.
I also work at Sheffield Hallam University as a business coach.
I have extensive experience in training and workshop design and delivery at all levels.
I have worked for Peter Jones CBE and Young Enterprise UK. In 2023 I won an Outstanding Support Award for my work at SHU; I was nominated again in 2024.
